Art Director

EROS EFLIN
art director
Chant From A Village &
Chant From The Capital City

This quiet and shy guy is one of the new wave of Indonesian filmmakers who contributed to the rebirth of Indonesian films in the late '90s. His background in architecture (University of Trisakti)
and graphic design (Institute of Art Jakarta) gave him solid theoretical foundation that he explores in the practices as an Art Director. Involving in Chants of Lotus is a great satisfaction for him because it is a film by directors who are not only professionals but have strong vision as women.

WENCISLAUS (IWEN)
art director
Chant From A Tourist Town &
Chant From An Island

Graduated from Institute of Art Jakarta majoring in Graphic Design, his debut as Art Director was in Love for Share, a film about polygamy by Nia Dinata. Iwen won Best Art Director in Indonesian Film Festival 2004
through this debut. Chants of Lotus for him is a very challenging film, not only in term of the art work requirement from two different scenarios and in different locations (Yogyakarta and Thousand Islands) but mostly in term of the story. For him, Chants of Lotus is a great important film that carries the voice of Indonesian women.
