| Annisa Nurulshanty Kusuma Wardhani Heryadie entered the entertainment world as a model, dancer and MTV VJ for seven years before her success as one of the most successful Indonesian divas. Shanty was born in Jakarta, December 30, 1978. She started her acting carrier in the film “Detik Terakhir” (2005). Her carrier in acting becomes stronger through her role as a main character in the film “Berbagi Suami” (2006) and “The Photograph” (2007), and also as supporting role in “Kala” (2007) and “Maaf, Saya Menghamili Istri Anda” (2007). She won best supporting actress in Festival Film Jakarta 2007. In Chants of Lotus, Shanty plays Esi in the Chant From A Village segment. |
